This annual luncheon is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Tacoma Habitat for Humanity. With over 800 people in attendance, we were able to raise $208,000 toward affordable housing.

With the theme “creating brighter futures” I utilized photography of homeowners children into the designs. The custom made centerpiece at each table displayed the habitat homeowner luncheon speakers children on each side.

Invitation

As an organization we decided on the theme “Creating Brighter Futures” for the annual luncheon event. I used a photo of the keynote speakers family on the front cover.

Table Take Aways

I created a brochure for each table to educate our audience the step by step process for homeowners to own a Habitat house.

I designed a specialty cookie and worked with a local cookie shop to get them made and delivered.

Each table captain got a special present with additional habitat swag.

Centerpieces

I took family photos of the habitat homeowner speaker previous to the event. I utilized those photos and worked with a local print shop to source a material that would allow light through. We got the kids printed on the material with a glue strip to attach at the end. I bought tap lights to go in the center to illuminate each one.

Post Event Mailer

Post event I designed a mailer to go out to anyone that was on the original invitation list, but didn’t make it to the event. This was a final push to encourage donations.
